This isn’t the first time Novak has been accused of turning no-bid contracts into a cash machine for himself. Two years ago, during the 2024 elections, Novak pocketed about 40% of his campaign cash (directly and indirectly) from the contractor who got the no-bid contracts. Much of the indirect cash came from the elite world of pigeon racing, where our wealthy contractor has connections.
